RE: Scarf vs Amp:
Scarf’s obvious implications with more atk speed apply to better objective shred, and better poke. Since most of your time fighting is peppering with ranged autos and waiting for targets to get low for Surf, more/faster autos not only makes that poking more dangerous, but also lowers your other cd’s more to set up for more opportunities.
Amp is there as the big Swiffer cleanup tool in teamfights, making your ult a nuke and making the following Surfs mini-nukes. A stronger ult makes getting those prio targets down to execute range more instant and on demand, and makes those stronger Surfs have more forgiving reset thresholds.
All in all it depends if you wanna focus more on outside pressure or ult-oriented playmaking.
More of an assassin than an adc these days. You’re either stalking around the outskirts of the fight peppering the enemy with autos and surfing in when low, or letting your team do the dirty work smoking in so the lowbies think they’re safe and cleaning up.
Surf at lvl 7 is an extremely good secure that not many can really contest at that level so you NEED to be at first Regi to provide that.
While the main goal of Surf is using it to kill so you get the reset, don’t be afraid to also use it without a reset. It’s still a dash, meaning it’s a gapcloser, or an escape/repositioning tool.
Also, if you Surf into a <50% hp target and they don’t die, they’re usually close enough that a few melee autos will finish the job. Just be sure you can do it before deciding that.
